New Sales Site Launched

We’re pleased to announce that we launched an updated version of the Venture Sales site that includes a brand new section on user profiles. You can check out everyone’s profiles (not to mention your own) at http://www.ventureindustriesonline.com/venture-users. We’ve also incorporated an e-commerce capability that allows current user to purchase add-ons right from the site! Once we get your order, we’ll get the add-on installed and set up a time to walk you though how to use it and of course, feel free to get in touch before ordering to ask questions or see a demo.

Impending updates

We plan on rolling out a series of updates that cover everything from incorporating the latest WordPress update to new Event Manager functionality and overall platform improvements. You don’t have to worry about doing anything on your end and we’ll let everyone know when things are wrapped up.

Version updates include Venture Event Manager 1.5.0027 and WordPress 3.3.1. Details will be posted in the official changelog once all of the updates are completed.

WordPress 3.2 Upgrade

Granted, those improvements are great but one real drawback is the new interface takes up more room so your custom background is likely no longer useful. Fear not! Although Venture has an integrated social media widget that doesn’t mean you can’t create your own. To that end, you can download an uber-set of 154 social media icons available in 10 different color themes (courtesy of http://icons.mysitemyway.com). That’s 1,540 social media icon options! Moreover, each color set can be easily customized to fit your specific branding via a simple color overlay in your favorite photo editing program. Each icon is 56×56 pixels in size and offers a light-on-dark and dark-on-light option for each icon.
